Are you a frustrated singer? A dancer with nowhere to perform? Do you have stage skills which are becoming rusty?

Boston Operatic Society is keen to recruit people from all communities who would like to take part in a week-long

production of West Side Story in November 2007 – the main requirement is energy and commitment.

The story is the romance of Romeo and Juliet – two young people from different backgrounds who fall in love and are destroyed

by the hatred between their communities.

The music, composed by Leonard Bernstein, is well-known -  “Maria”, “America” and “Tonight” being the most famous.

The dancing is energetic!

We are seeking young people who would like to get involved with a local society with a first-class reputation.

The performance will be in English.

The first event will be a workshop at 2pm-5pm on May 27th at Staniland Primary School, Peck Avenue, Boston, PE21 8DF.
